Business Built with Heart, I never thought that starting this business would enrich my life the way it did. One of my best customers, Regina, visited me every week. One day, her husband came in with her, and we began to chat. It turns out, we both love the outdoors, camping, and motorcycles. So naturally, our first hang out was a one-week trip up to PCH on our bikes, visiting Monterrey and Solvang, and stopping along the coast once in a while to rest at dinner. It was incredible to connect so quickly with someone that I had just met. This was the beginning of a lifelong friendship. For a few years after this trip, he and I helped each other with housework, attended each other’s children’s birthday parties, and even started a separate business together selling odds and ends. My best friend became my business partner, and I think that this is the perfect example of why Valley Cake Supplies is so special.

More than a store. It’s a place where everybody knows your name -well, at least I will! I make it a point to get to know my customers, especially if you visit regularly! My shop is one where I want all my guests to know that they have a friend there who genuinely cares about what they need and how their day is going. You will walk away knowing my name and my story. Many of my customers have known me for over 20 years, Moreno Valley’s top business and community partner. Our family business may have a different name now, but we are still the same people.
